The Economic Outlook 2025 in Petaling Jaya features a keynote by Dr. Anthony Dass and offers networking opportunities with industry leaders.

As a key event designed to provide valuable insights into the economic landscape for the year ahead, the Economic Outlook 2025 will be hosted this year by Hilti and organized by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the CCIFM, Canada Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia Dutch Business Council (MBDC), and Malaysia Spanish & Chamber Industry (La Camara).

This year, we are honored to welcome Dr. Anthony Dass, the Executive Director of the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER), as our speaker. Dr. Dass began his career as an Economist and later served as Senior Economist at Bank Negara Malaysia from 1988 to 1997. He has since worked in various equity investment organizations and most recently served as the Chief Economist and Head of Research at AmBank from 2013 to 2023. Dr. Dass also held a pivotal role as a Special Officer for the Economic Action Council within the Economic Planning Unit of Malaysia from May 2020 to January 2023, focusing on strategic issues and policies, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
