Back to Work Networking Cocktail 2024
The CCIFM "Back to Work" event kicks off the post-summer season with a vibrant gathering of the Malaysian-French Business Community, warmly welcoming newcomers from both public and private sectors. This beloved tradition is the perfect platform to reconnect, foster new business relationships, and extend an exceptional welcome to those just arriving in Malaysia! It’s all about recharging, networking, and embracing new opportunities together!
This year, we brought together nearly 200 members for an exciting gathering! Our President, Richard Fostier, took the stage to share key updates and unveil the major events lined up for Q4 2024. Among the highlights was a very optimistic economic outlook for Malaysia—2024 growth is projected around 5%, possibly more! Inflation remains under control at 2%, and we’re expecting a significant appreciation of the Ringgit, all powered by the many economic agreements already in place or under negotiation.
We're thrilled about the return of direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Paris by Malaysia Airlines in March 2025, and the much-anticipated Malaysia-France Gala Night on 4 November, with Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Malaysia's Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry.
A huge shoutout to our event partners, AGS Malaysia and Bluestar, as well as Chef Roland Hamidouche from Sofitel Damansara Kuala Lumpur. Thanks to all our members for making this event such a success!
