CCIFM Dialogue with Invest Sabah: Exploring Business & Investment Opportunities for French Companies

On 4th September 2024, at the invitation of H.E. Axel Cruau, Ambassador of France to Malaysia, a delegation from CCI France Malaysia (CCIFM) visited Kota Kinabalu to coincide with the visit of the French navy ship BRETANGE, currently on its Asia tour.

CCIFM seized this opportunity to collaborate with its partner Invest Sabah, co-organizing a Dialogue session between local government agencies and its members (Asian Marine Professionals Associated (AMPA), Botanickel, Club Med, PalmINNOV, Saint-Gobain, Schneider Electric, and Seatech Engineering Maintenance) representing a good mix of the diversity of the French Business Presence in Malaysia through a mix of MNC, ETI and Entrepreneurs.

The session provided valuable updates on Sabah’s current economic landscape and ongoing infrastructure projects, including the Pan Borneo Highway and other logistics developments. Club Med and Botanickel also shared updates on the progress of their investments in Sabah.
