Larry James Sta MariaDirector – Indirect Tax, Deloitte Malaysia

Larry has more than 25 years of experience in tax, covering, direct and indirect tax, in both tax consulting and corporate sectors.  He has advised and worked with clients from a diverse background of industries, assisting them on matters covering tax planning and structuring, advisory and compliance.  He has also led and managed GST and SST implementation projects across industries involving transaction, systems, and process analysis.  Larry previously held the position of Vice President in a Malaysian multi – national group of companies involved in the Plantation, Property, and Manufacturing industries.  He has a Bachelor’s of Business (Accountancy) from RMIT University Australia and is a member of CPA, Australia.
