The bilateral trade between France and the ASEAN countries is continuously increasing, Canada is about to sign a free trade agreement, and Africa, with its 212 million French speakers, is now the fastest-growing continent for ASEAN trade. Opportunities to develop partnerships in the French-speaking world are broad, and French language remains a key success factor.

This conference will give an overview of the situation of French companies in ASEAN and expand perspectives on the whole French-speaking economic space, enhanced by the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF). 

Along with the French Chamber of Commerce of several ASEAN’s countries, we'll explore the added value of having French on one's resume, by discussing concrete examples of teams working in the French-speaking world.
