AI Powered Leadership: Shaping the Future of Business and Talent

On 15 April 2025, La French Tech Malaysia and the Asia School of Business (ASB) co-organized an exclusive evening event focused on how AI is transforming leadership, talent, and the future of business. The session brought together over 180 C-level executives, board members, and decision-makers from across Malaysia’s business landscape.

Proudly supported by CCI France Malaysia and 15 other bilateral European chambers and business councils, the event created a dynamic space for dialogue, learning, and cross-industry exchange.

Held at ASB in Kuala Lumpur, the panel featured:

🔹 Professor Sanjay Sarma, President, Dean & CEO of ASB, and MIT professor

🔹 Vittorio Furlan, Independent Non-Executive Director and a leader in banking transformation and digital strategy

🎤 Moderated by Yuki Aizawa, Regional Director APAC at Women in Tech

Together, they explored how AI is impacting leadership styles, workforce transformation, and strategic decision-making. One key message echoed throughout the evening: AI won’t replace leaders, but leaders who embrace AI will lead the future.

From smarter decision-making to reshaping roles, the discussion emphasized that AI is not about replacing people but partnering with them. Creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence will become even more critical as automation continues to evolve.

As a bridge between the French and Malaysian business communities, CCI France Malaysia collaborates closely with La French Tech on this important topic. But this is just the beginning, let’s keep the conversation going and work together toward a smarter, more inclusive future.
